The National is an iconic piece of Chicago history that sits in the heart of Chicago's Loop. Originally built in 1907, the 20-story steel and concrete structure underwent a complete renovation in 2017. The National now offers a one-of-a-kind main level marketplace along with 500,000 rentable square feet.
Because of the building's longstanding history and age, the building control dampers were left with limited movement due to rust, warping and binding. New control dampers were installed, along with the addition of minimum/maximum outside air dampers to allow for increased economizer control.
