Remarkably courageous, ambitious and independent, Jim has never been one to sit on the sidelines. Before embarking on a 50+ year career in the commercial HVAC industry, he pursued an engineering degree at Purdue University, then honorably served our country during two tours as a paratrooper in Vietnam. After returning home, he worked for several notable rep firms (Filkins and Air Products, to name a few) before co-founding SIKA, his first business.
Despite the success of his business partnership, Jim’s entrepreneurial spirit and determination motivated him to pursue a solo endeavor. He founded e.i.p. Inc. (Energy Improvement Products) on August 24, 1983. The rest, as they say, is history. Family-run for nearly four decades, e.i.p. continually strives to create meaningful relationships while delivering quality products and solutions to enhance building environments.
Jim’s integrity, dedication to excellence and genuine interest in serving others have proven to be key elements to his success. We are truly grateful for his leadership and extensive knowledge, and are proud to carry on the e.i.p. legacy.
